HAMLET by WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
THEATRE OF THE NO
Premiering on March 22nd 2027
His father is dead. His uncle wears the crown—and has married his mother. Then a ghost arrives with an accusation that turns grief into a demand for revenge. In Shakespeare’s Hamlet, a young prince searches for the truth in a court where affection conceals ambition, friendship becomes surveillance, and even madness may be a performance. With savage wit, dangerous encounters and a play designed to catch a murderer, every attempt to expose a lie brings Hamlet closer to disaster.
Theatre of the NO presents Hamlet, directed by Nicolas Zlatoff, performed in English with Greek subtitles. At its heart is a troubling question: how can we act with certainty when we cannot trust what we see? Caught between love and suspicion, thought and action, Hamlet must decide what justice demands—and what he is prepared to destroy in its name. Shakespeare draws us into the prince’s most private doubts, then makes us witnesses to their devastating consequences.
