Rooted in the authentic sound of Chicago Blues, Blues Cargo bring to Theatre of the NO a musical experience that combines the tradition of the genre with improvisation and the spontaneity of live performance.
The Blues Cargo Jam Nights are two evenings dedicated to blues and the spirit of free expression that lies at the heart of the genre. As hosts, Blues Cargo create an open space for musical exchange, collaboration and improvisation.
Each evening begins with a special tribute, followed by an open jam session, where blues musicians are invited to take the stage and play alongside Blues Cargo and other musicians. Every night develops its own distinctive character through spontaneous interactions and unexpected musical encounters on stage.
The story of Blues Cargo began in 1984, and since 1987, the band have performed under the name they are known by today. With nearly four decades on the scene, they have become a mainstay of the Greek blues community, championing Chicago Blues while drawing on influences from R&B, funk, soul and jazz.
Throughout their career, they have collaborated with prominent American blues artists, including Louisiana Red, Lurrie Bell, Eddie C. Campbell, Guitar Shorty and Matthew Skoller, and have shared the stage with international names such as the John Mayall Bluesbreakers and John Hammond.
Their discography includes four albums, from First Delivery (1993) to On Time (2016). Today, Blues Cargo continue to perform live, with their dynamic stage presence and the spirit of the jam session remaining at the core of their musical identity.

Blues Cargo Jam Nights
Theatre of the NO
Το Theatre of the NO
Με σταθερή αναφορά στον αυθεντικό ήχο του Chicago Blues, οι Blues Cargo φέρνουν στο Theatre of the NO μια μουσική εμπειρία που συνδυάζει την παράδοση του είδους με τον αυτοσχεδιασμό και τη ζωντανή επικοινωνία.
Η δισκογραφία τους περιλαμβάνει τέσσερα άλμπουμ, από το First Delivery (1993) έως το On Time (2016).
