Theatre of the NO presents the All Star Winter Jazz Party, an evening dedicated to jazz, featuring top international and Greek artists who transform the stage into a celebration of music. Following the success of the Summer Jazz Night, this winter edition brings jazz back to life in the city on Sunday, February 1, at 20:30.
The evening will feature three exceptional musical projects:
The Gilad Atzmon Quartet pays tribute to Charlie “Bird” Parker. The acclaimed saxophonist and composer, together with his quartet, revives the explosive energy, virtuosity, and timeless brilliance of bebop, bridging tradition with a contemporary jazz sensibility.
The Jim Kassavetis Quartet brings Greek jazz to life with intensity and creativity. Jim Kassavetis one of the most exciting emerging talents in Greek jazz, leads the quartet with a pioneering style and exceptional technique, delivering a powerful and distinctive musical experience that is attracting international attention from audiences and critics alike.
Tali Atzmon and vibraphonist Jacques Marugg offer a unique take on French chanson. Their elegant, jazz-infused interpretations bring classic songs from the golden era of the genre to life, blending emotion, sophistication, and improvisation.
Over the past 12 months, Theatre of the NO has firmly established itself as Athens’ prime music stage and one of the city’s leading jazz venues. The All Star Winter Jazz Party confirms its role as a vibrant hub for world-class jazz, artistic exchange, and musical innovation.
