George Gaudy, one of the most distinctive creators in the contemporary Greek music scene, will perform for one night only at the Theatre of the No on Friday, October 17 at 21:30. A singer, songwriter, and producer, Gaudy is known for his signature “rough” voice and his talent for crafting catchy, intricate, and carefully arranged songs.
Following his acclaimed trilogy Mother / I Lost My Soul / Down Down Below, which provided the soundtrack for the hit series “Eteros Ego”, George Gaudy presents an explosive live set that balances the intensity of rock, the melodic richness of folk, and the atmospheric vibes of alternative music. The concert will feature songs spanning his entire career, along with new material giving a first glimpse of his upcoming album.
On stage with him is a tight and powerful trio, already renowned for their season-long performances at the Writer’s Sessions at the Goulandris Museum and Athens Voice, where they accompanied many independent and unique musicians. Now, fully focused on Gaudy’s music, the trio returns stronger and more cohesive than ever.
George Gaudy has released the critically acclaimed LP Millionaire (2012) and the EP Will You (2014) via Archangel Music, followed by the digital singles Mother / Why Oh Why (2016) and Berlin / Lullaby (2017) via Universal Music Greece, and his second LP Little Pieces (2020) through his own label.
He has shared the stage with both international and Greek artists, including Sivert Høyem’s Paradise at Gagarin 205 and Fun Lovin’ Criminals at Fuzz Club, and has headlined prestigious venues and festivals such as Gagarin 205, Six D.O.G.S., and the Jumping Fish Festival at Technopolis.
