Fresh from directing the International Jazz Day Global Concert in Abu Dhabi, Beasley brings his world-class artistry to Athens for an unforgettable night of modern jazz.
A true “jazz chameleon,” Beasley launched his career in his twenties, touring with icons Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard. Over the years, he has become one of the most dynamic and versatile forces in music, collaborating with giants across genres including Dianne Reeves, Christian McBride, Queen Latifah, A.R. Rahman, Chucho Valdés, Herbie Hancock, and John Patitucci. His 20 albums have garnered two GRAMMY® Awards and an impressive 14 GRAMMY® nominations.
Beyond the stage, Beasley’s talents extend deep into Hollywood: he has worked closely with 14-time Oscar-nominated composer Thomas Newman on blockbuster scores such as Skyfall, Spectre, Finding Nemo, and composed for TV series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Fame to name a couple.
